You can easily add one or more Spotify tracks to your Fastory experience, giving your users a moment that is both immersive and musical. No installation is required on their side: they can listen to the music directly within the experience.

What is it for?

Embedding Spotify lets you enrich your experience with music. You can add a single track to accompany a sequence, or a full album to set a lasting mood. Only you need a Spotify account to retrieve the tracks; your users can listen to them without having an account.

How does it work?

The integration takes three steps: grab the track link on Spotify, generate a player, then insert it into your experience.

1. Grab the link on Spotify

You need a Spotify account to retrieve a track. You have two options depending on what you want to embed:

A single track: to the right of the track, click the ..., then Copy Song Link.

A full album: below the album, click the ..., then Copy Album Link.

2. Generate the player on Spotify for Developers

Once the link is copied, go to the Spotify for Developers play button generator (https://developer.spotify.com/documentation/widgets/generate/play-button/). Paste the copied link into step 2 of the tool. The site then generates an iFrame tag in step 3. Remember to choose the final preview of the player before grabbing this tag.

3. Insert the player into your Fastory experience

In your content screen, add the Embed element, then paste the iFrame tag into its settings. And that's it: your users enjoy an immersive, musical experience, set to the rhythm of your Spotify tracks.
