When you add collaborators to your Fastory workspace, each one is assigned a specific role. These roles determine the access rights and the possible actions: creating interactive contests, accessing statistics, moderating entries, or downloading data.

What is it for?

Understanding these roles helps you organize your teams better and guarantee optimal use of the platform. Whether you want to create an interactive contest, collect event leads, or run a fan experience, choosing the right role is essential to distribute missions efficiently.

How to check your current role?

You can view your role directly in your workspace by hovering over the role name at the top right.

💡 By default, all members receive the Administrator role. Depending on your plan, you can assign differentiated roles to your colleagues. Contact us to enable this feature.

🔐 Administrator

The most complete role, with full access.

They can:

Create, edit, copy, duplicate, publish, and unpublish experiences.

Create and manage contests (prizes, prize draws, Instant Wins).

Access and share statistics.

Manage the Fanzone and the prizes.

Invite and manage members.

Ideal for: steering the strategy and coordinating all campaigns.

🎨 Creator

Designed for operational teams.

They can:

Create, edit, duplicate, and unpublish experiences.

Create contests and manage prizes.

Create and edit bots.

They cannot: access the audience, download the winners' CSV files, or invite members.

Ideal for: producing and customizing interactive contests, casual games, or marketing experiences.

Specialized in managing entries.

They can:

View and moderate experiences (especially the selfie game).

Access the workspace's moderation tab.

They cannot: create or edit experiences, or access statistics or contests.

Ideal for: validating user entries during live events or on social media.

📊 Data Analyst

Focused on data and reporting.

They can:

View and share statistics.

Access the CRM and the Tag Manager.

Download the winners' CSV files.

They cannot: create or edit experiences, or invite members.

They can:

View experiences (draft or published).

Duplicate an experience into their workspace.

Reserve the Administrator role for the people who steer the strategy and coordinate all campaigns.
