Getting started with Fanzone

The News Block

Learn how to add and configure the News Block to automatically display your website's latest articles in your Fanzone and keep your fans up to date.

The News Block automatically displays the latest articles published on your website, directly in your Fanzone. Your fans can access your news without leaving the page.

What is it for?

This Block aggregates articles from your website and presents them as a clear, up-to-date list.

It saves you from copying each news item by hand: once the Block is set up, articles are updated from the source you provide.

It's a simple way to keep your Fanzone lively and redirect your audience to your most recent content.

Add the News Block

  1. Open your Fanzone in the back office.
  1. Click Add.
  1. In the Content category, select News.
  1. Enter your website address to retrieve your articles.

Configure the news

Connect your article source

Enter your website URL in the dedicated field. The Block then automatically retrieves your latest published articles. If you publish new articles, you can refresh the list to pull in the most recent ones.

Choose how many articles are displayed

You can choose how many articles appear in the Block:

  • 3 articles;
  • 6 articles;
  • 9 articles.

Articles are automatically sorted from newest to oldest.

How articles are displayed

Each article shows:

  • its title or description;
  • a date indicator, for example 2 hours ago;
  • a featured image when one is available.

When clicked, the article opens in a new tab on your website.

Best practices

  • Place the News Block high enough in your Fanzone to showcase your recent content.
  • Limit the number of articles if your page is already busy; 3 articles are often enough.
  • Remember to refresh the list after publishing a large batch of articles.
  • Make sure your articles have an image for a more appealing display.
