Getting started with Fanzone

How does your Fanzone Analytics page work?

Discover your Fanzone's Statistics page: active users, devices, traffic sources, CTA clicks, sports game analytics, and a public share link to showcase results to your sponsors.

Your Fanzone's Statistics page centralizes all your audience and engagement data: visitors, devices, traffic sources, clicks on your buttons, tab performance, and the statistics of your sports games.

It lets you measure the impact of your activations and share your results, for example with a sponsor, through a dedicated public page.

What is it for?

This page answers the essential questions of any marketing or fan engagement manager: how many fans visit my Fanzone? Do they come back regularly? Which channels do they come from? Which buttons do they click the most?

It helps you identify what works, optimize your Fanzone's content, and showcase your results to your partners.

The data updates automatically every minute: you can track your performance in near real time, including during a live event.

Access the Statistics page

  1. Log in to your Fastory workspace.
  1. Open your Fanzone.
  1. Click the Statistics tab.

Access to this page is restricted to roles with administration rights on the workspace. If your role does not allow it, an access denied message is displayed: reach out to a workspace administrator.

Some sections depend on the options enabled on your workspace: traffic sources, CTAs, and per-tab statistics require the Statistics option, and the sports game tabs only appear if the corresponding games are enabled.

The General view

The General tab gathers your Fanzone's audience indicators. At the top of the page, a Users panel shows the total number of unique users who reached the Fanzone, along with the total number of sessions.

Filter the data

Above the charts, filters let you refine the analysis:

  • a period with the date selector;
  • one or more acquisition channels with All channels: Direct, Referral, Social, Paid social, Display, E-mail, Organic, QR Code, Other;
  • one or more countries with All countries.

The Refresh button immediately reloads the data with the selected filters.

Active users

Chart

Weekly active users

Monthly active users
The number of unique users per month, to measure your audience's growth over time.

Device breakdown

Traffic sources

These sections are displayed if the Statistics option is enabled on your workspace.

CTA clicks

These charts measure the performance of each action button in your Fanzone. They are displayed if the Statistics option is enabled.

Chart
What it helps you understand
CTA
The number of impressions and clicks for each button, Block by Block. You see which content actually catches your fans' attention.
Top 3 CTR
The 3 CTAs with the best click-through rate (clicks divided by impressions). A shortcut to identify your most effective content.

Per-tab statistics

If your Fanzone uses several tabs, the Tabs chart shows for each one the number of impressions, clicks, and the CTR. You can identify the tabs that capture the most attention and those worth promoting more.

Instant Win

If you have enabled an Instant Win game, the Instant Win section shows, for each selected game, the Entries, the Unique users, and the Wins distributed.

Sports game statistics

Depending on the games enabled on your workspace, additional tabs appear next to General: Starting XI, Bracket, Predictor Football, and Predictor MMA.

Starting XI

The Starting XI tab covers all the variations of the lineup game: Starting XI Football, Starting Five Basketball, Starting XV Rugby, Starting 7 Handball, and Starting 6 Hockey.

Bracket

The Bracket tab tracks your knockout competitions: total predictions, unique participants, winners, scored matches, and completed phases, with the phase-by-phase detail, the distribution of predictions per match, the Leaderboard of the best players, and loyalty analyses (participation distribution, new vs returning, retention).

Predictor Football and Predictor MMA

The Predictor Football and Predictor MMA tabs display your predictions' key indicators, the participants' conversion funnel down to sign-up, the acquisition sources, and loyalty analyses (participation distribution, new vs returning, retention). You can analyze a specific prediction game or all of them with All predictions.

Share your statistics with a sponsor

You can give access to your statistics without creating an account for your contact, for example a sponsor or a partner.

  1. From the Statistics page, click the Share button at the top right.
  1. Copy the generated public link.
  1. Send it to your contact.

The person who opens the link accesses a read-only public page, with your Fanzone's name and logo, presenting the same statistics as your back office: audience, sources, CTAs, tabs, and sports games depending on the enabled options.

If you share the link from the Bracket tab with a Bracket or a match selected, the link opens directly on that view: handy for highlighting a specific competition.

The Share button is available when the Statistics option is enabled on your workspace.

Best practices

  • Check the General view every week to follow your active users trend, rather than looking at an isolated day.
  • Cross-reference the Users by source chart with your campaigns: if a channel underperforms, adjust your posts or test a QR Code in the stadium.
  • Use the Top 3 CTR to spot the button formats that work, then apply those recipes to your other Blocks.
  • Filter by the period around a match or an event to measure the real impact of an activation.
  • Share the public page with your sponsors after every highlight: concrete numbers showcase the value of your visibility spaces.
  • If a section shows no data yet, give the first visits time to be recorded: statistics are built from your fans' actual activity.

Concrete use cases

If you want to prove the value of a partnership, share the public page with your sponsor

After a sponsored activation, click Share and send the link to your partner. They can independently review the impressions and clicks on their campaign's CTAs, without a Fastory account.

If you want to measure the impact of a matchday, filter the period

Select the match date in the filters and click Refresh. The Daily unique users chart shows the attendance peak, and the Users by source chart reveals which channel brought the most fans.

If you want to optimize your Fanzone's content, analyze the CTAs and tabs

Compare the impressions and clicks of each Block in the CTA chart. A Block that is displayed a lot but rarely clicked deserves a rework: visual, text, or position on the page.

FAQ

How do I access my Fanzone's statistics in Fastory?

Open your Fanzone in the Fastory back office, then click the Statistics tab. You will find active users, the device breakdown, traffic sources, CTA clicks, and your sports games' statistics. Access requires administration rights on the workspace.

What do the Fanzone's daily, weekly, and monthly active users measure?

These three charts count the unique users who visit your Fanzone per day, per week, and per month. The daily chart also shows the total number of sessions, which reveals whether your fans come back several times. Together, they give a short-term and long-term view of your audience.

How do I know where my Fanzone's visitors come from?

The Users by source chart shows the main acquisition channels: social media, direct access, e-mail, QR Code, and others. The All sources table gives the full detail with the share of visits. You can also filter the whole page by channel to analyze a specific lever.

How do I track clicks on my Fanzone's buttons?

The CTA chart shows, for each Block of your Fanzone, the number of impressions and the number of clicks. The Top 3 CTR chart highlights the three buttons with the best click-through rate. This data helps identify the content that engages your fans the most.

How do I share my Fanzone's statistics with a sponsor without creating an account for them?

Click the Share button at the top right of the Statistics page, then send the generated link to your sponsor. They access a read-only public page presenting the same indicators as your back office, in your Fanzone's colors.

Why are some statistics sections not displayed on my page?

Sections depend on the options enabled on your workspace. Traffic sources, CTAs, and per-tab statistics require the Statistics option, and the Bracket, Predictor, or Starting XI tabs only appear if those games are enabled. Contact your Fastory representative to enable a missing option.

How often are the Fanzone statistics updated?

The data refreshes automatically every minute while the page is open. You can also force an immediate update with the Refresh button. This is especially useful for tracking a live activation during a match or an event.

Who can view the Fanzone's Statistics page?

Only workspace members with administration rights can open the Statistics tab in the back office. Other roles see an access denied message. To give visibility to an external person, use the public share link instead.
