Getting started with Fanzone
Social Login
Learn how to let your fans log in to your Fanzone and Fastory experiences with Google, Facebook, Spotify or their email address using Social Login.
Social Login lets your fans log in to your Fanzone or your Fastory experiences with Google, Facebook, Spotify or their email address. Authentication is fully integrated into the Fanzone: it makes it easier to take part in experiences and gives access to the fan profile. It can also be enabled directly through an option in the Bot, to create a fan account from the very first interaction.
1. Choose the connectors
Start by choosing the connector(s) you want to enable: Google, Facebook and/or email.
2. Enable authentication in the Bot
Go to your chatbot editor to invite users to log in to your Fanzone. To enable Social Login, the Enable authentication option must be turned on.
3. The login journey on the fan side
Your users can then log in to your Fanzone in three ways:
- with Facebook Login;
- with Google Login;
- or by entering their email address: a verification code is then sent to them by email.
Once logged in, the user will no longer need to re-enter their email address on their next visits.
Good to know
If bots are present at the end of your games, also turn on the Enable authentication option on the email field of those bots, so a fan who is already logged in is not asked for their email address a second time.
FAQ

Which login methods can you offer fans?
Three options: Facebook Login, Google Login, or an email address with a verification code sent by email. You choose which connectors to enable.
How do you enable Social Login in the Bot?
In your chatbot editor, turn on the Enable authentication option on the login step, and on the email field of end-of-game bots.
Does a fan need to log in again on every visit?
No. Once logged in, they no longer need to re-enter their email address on their next visits.
