Learn how Fanzone games work, how fans earn stars, and how to create and link games to season ranks with over 50 mobile-first game mechanics.
Games are at the heart of your Fanzone. They are the most engaging and rewarding way for your fans to earn stars, progress through levels and unlock rewards. Each game is part of a broader gamification system where performance matters and participation drives loyalty.
What are games for?
Games turn a simple visit into a fun, competitive moment. They let your fans earn stars, and therefore move up in levels and ranks, while helping you collect data and keep your community engaged throughout the season.
How do games work?
Each game lets players earn up to 5 stars, based on their performance:
- up to 3 stars based on the main score (correct answers, goals scored, points accumulated);
- up to 2 additional stars based on specific objectives (speed, accuracy, a flawless run).
This scoring system encourages fans not only to play, but also to play again to improve their score and their leaderboard position.
Create a game in your Fanzone
- Go to the Experiences section of the Builder.
- Click the + Experience button.
- Choose a game mechanic (Quiz, Shooter, Crusher, predictions, etc.).
- Customize your experience: design, content, rules and prizes.
Link a game to a season rank
To unlock a game from a specific rank:
- Click on your current season.
- In the list of ranks, click Add on the rank from which the game should become accessible.
- Select the experience to link.
The game becomes accessible as soon as the fan reaches the required rank. This lets you schedule several experiences across different ranks and build a true progression journey.
Over 50 mechanics available
Fastory offers more than 50 game mechanics, all mobile-first and instantly playable. Among them:
- Crusher: a match-3 style game;
- Faster: a piano-style rhythm game;
- Shooter: a reflex-based bubble shooter;
- Spinner: a 3D fortune wheel;
- Predictor, Bracket, Starting XI, Forecast: sports predictions;
- Quizzes, blind tests, memory games, photo and video contests, and many more.
Special rules for awarding stars
Some games follow a specific logic to guarantee fairness:
- Prediction games: 1 star per question. At least 5 questions are needed to allow 5 stars.
- Quizzes: 1 star per correct answer, plus 1 bonus star for speed. At least 4 questions are needed to allow 5 stars.
- Vote, selfie and swipe poll games: 1 fixed star per participation, whatever the result.
