Fastory Studio
Schedule your experience
Learn how to schedule the automatic opening and closing of your Fastory experience, display a launch countdown, and plan the visibility of each screen.
You have full control over your experience's availability: close and reopen it manually, schedule automatic opening and closing dates, display a countdown before launch, and plan when each screen is shown. This guide covers the four key features!
Schedule automatic opening and closing
You can schedule the automatic publishing and unpublishing of your experience:
- Click the Calendar button in the studio header.
- Once the modal opens, set the opening date and time of the experience, then its closing date and time.
- Publish the update to your experience so your schedule is taken into account.
Users will be able to take part in your game between the opening date and the closing date.
To clear a selected date: click the Reset button in the scheduling modal, then publish your experience again so the change is taken into account.
3. Display a countdown
The countdown builds anticipation and virality around your launch:
- First, schedule your opening and closing dates (see the previous section). The Start button will show or hide automatically based on these times.
- The countdown will automatically appear on the first screen of your experience.
The countdown automatically adapts to the game's status:
Impact on URLs
Each screen of your experience has its own URL. If you hide and then show screens or game bricks again, these URLs may change. If you have shared the URL of a specific screen or set up redirects, always prefer sharing the global URL of your experience, defined in the Publish tab.

What happens if a user is playing at the scheduled closing time?
They are automatically redirected to the end screen or the losing screen, and can sign up to the bot if your experience includes one.
How do I display a countdown before my game launches?
Schedule your dates, then once the experience has been confirmed and updated, a countdown is automatically displayed according to the experience's status.
Can I hide a single screen of the experience without closing the game?
