Fastory Studio
Image, Video, and Gallery
Add images, animated GIFs, and videos to your Fastory experiences and find all your media in one place with the Gallery.
Fastory lets you insert your media content (images, GIFs, and videos) directly into your experiences. All this content is centralized in the Gallery, accessible from the editor, so you can easily find and reuse it.
What is it for?
Media content brings your experiences to life: it captures your audience's attention, illustrates your message, and makes every screen more engaging. With Fastory, you can add an image, an animated GIF, or a video to a screen, then find all your media in one place thanks to the Gallery.
Add media content
- In the editor, click a media component (image, video, etc.) to open its settings.
- Click the + sign to add your content.
- Choose the source of your content depending on the media type (see the sections below).
- Your content is added to the component and saved in the Gallery.
The Gallery
The Gallery stores all the media content you have used. You can access it from the editor by clicking a media component (image, video, etc.) to open the settings, then clicking the + sign. There you will find your previously uploaded media, ready to be reused in your experiences.

You can add this type of content in several ways:
- Upload from your computer
- Download royalty-free images from Pixabay
- Download animated GIFs from Giphy
- From your Facebook account
- From your Instagram account
You can add a transparent GIF and prevent an unwanted background from appearing: simply enable the dedicated option in the component settings.
Videos
You can add videos in several ways:
- Upload from your computer
- Download royalty-free videos from Pixabay
- From your YouTube account
- From your Facebook account

Covers
To add a cover (image or video), the process is the same as adding regular media content. The only difference is the dimensions: a cover must fill the entire smartphone screen, so the user can scroll and move on to the next screen. Make sure to use high-quality, mobile-friendly content so your audience gets the most out of your experience.
