How to customize a Cover?
Learn how to customize the Cover of your Fastory experience with an image, video or color background, your logo, text, an animated title and a Swipe Up prompt to engage your audience from the very first screen.
The Cover is the very first screen your audience sees when opening your Fastory experience. As a true welcome screen, it should be as lively and engaging as possible to make people want to go further.
What is it for?
The Cover acts as the welcome screen of your experience. It captures attention within the first few seconds and encourages the user to continue. A polished, dynamic Cover increases your chances of holding your audience's attention and drawing them into the experience.
How to customize your Cover?
From the Studio, open the Cover screen of your experience, then build it from the following elements:
- Choose a background: an Image (your own visuals, a Canva visual, or a GIF), a Video, or a Background color with adjustable opacity.
- Add your logo to strengthen your brand identity.
- Insert text to introduce your experience or highlight your prizes.
- Add an animated title to bring the welcome screen to life.
- Add a Swipe Up title to invite the user to move to the next screen or scroll further down the screen.
Customization options
Several settings let you fine-tune the look of your Cover:
- Background color: the opacity can be adjusted to control the intensity of the color.
- Animated title: its loop can be disabled if you prefer an animation that does not repeat. However, the font of the animated title cannot be changed.
- Swipe Up title: it guides the user to the next screen or further down the current screen.
- Transparent-background GIF: if you choose a GIF with a transparent background, remember to enable the dedicated option. It prevents an unwanted background from appearing behind your visual.
