Learn how to use the Embed feature to display external content such as YouTube videos, Spotify playlists, or social media posts directly in your Fastory experience.
The Embed feature lets you integrate external content directly into your Fastory experience. You enrich your screens and drive traffic to your other channels, without your participants having to leave the experience.
What is it for?
The Embed element is an integration point for an external application or interactive content. It helps you boost the visibility of content from your other channels, right at the heart of your Fastory experience. For example, you can display a YouTube video or a Facebook post directly in one of your screens.
How does it work?
- In your Fastory experience, select the Embed component.
- The Embed tab opens in the left-hand menu.
- Paste the embed code of the content you want to display.
- The external content then appears in your experience.
What content can you embed?
You can embed different types of content (images, posts, videos, audio, 3D models...) from external sites, for example:
- YouTube
- X
- SoundCloud

- Sketchfab
- Dailymotion
Best practices
- Always use the official embed code provided by the source platform: it is what guarantees your content displays correctly.
- Preview your embedded content before publishing your experience, to check that it displays as expected.
- Favor content that reinforces your message rather than overloading the screen.
- Keep in mind that content deleted or set to private on the original platform will no longer display in your experience.
