How to enable Social Login in the Bot of your experience? – Fastory

Social Login makes it easier for fans to identify themselves in your Fastory experiences. Instead of asking for their email, fans log in directly with their Google, Facebook, or Spotify account, and their account is automatically created in your Fanzone.

What is it for?

Social Login lets your fans identify themselves in one tap, without re-entering their email for every experience. Once a fan is logged in, their account is centralized in your Fanzone: across all your experiences, they no longer need to fill in their information again. You collect your fans' data faster, with a smoother journey.

How to enable Social Login?

Check that the Social Login add-on is enabled in your workspace.

Open your Fanzone settings and choose the connectors to enable (Google, Facebook, Spotify, etc.).

In your experience studio:

Go to the Bot tab.

Add an Email message type.

Enable or disable the Social Login option as needed. By default, if the option is disabled, the email is still requested but without a Magic Code.

How do email and the Magic Code work?

When a fan enters their email, they automatically receive a Magic Code (Magic Link) that lets them access their account securely. If the Social Login add-on is not enabled in your Bot sequence, the fan can still enter their email, but no account is created in the Fanzone.

How does login with Google, Facebook, or Spotify work?

If the fan chooses to log in with Google, Facebook, or Spotify:

they accept the requested permissions,

the login happens automatically,

they can log out at any time from the Profile tab or directly in each sequence of your Bot.

What fans find in their profile

As soon as a fan logs in via Social Login or Email, their profile is automatically activated in the Fanzone. From the Bot, they can check at any time:

their leaderboards, scores, and completed quests,

their levels, ranks, stars, and virtual currency,

their ongoing prizes and unlocked rewards.

How to add a link to the fan profile from my Fanzone?

Two buttons are automatically offered in the Fanzone:

Sign up: starts a personalized conversation to register the player,

Log in: gives direct access to the fan's personal space, where they can log in.
