Crusher

Discover Crusher, Fastory's Candy Crush-style match-3 mini-game with AI-generated pieces from your Instagram images, and learn how to customize it for your campaigns and Fanzone.

Crusher is a Candy Crush-style match-3 mini-game. Players swap pieces to form combinations and score as many points as possible before the timer runs out.

What makes it special: the piece visuals can be AI-generated from your Instagram images, for a game fully in your brand's colors.

What is it for?

Crusher lets you engage your community with a simple, addictive, and visual game. Anyone can understand the rules in a few seconds.

It's an effective format to energize a marketing campaign, a key moment of an event, or an activation on your Fanzone.

Since the pieces feature your own visuals, the game strengthens brand recall while collecting entries.

How does Crusher work?

The principle is simple:

  • move a piece to swap it with a neighboring piece;
  • align at least 3 identical pieces to make them disappear;
  • chain combinations to multiply your points;
  • score as many points as possible before time runs out.

If you enable special pieces, matching more than 3 pieces creates bonuses that can clear a row, a column, an area, or all pieces of the same color.

The game screens

The player goes through several screens:

  1. An introduction screen that explains the rules with a short animation.
  1. The game screen, with the grid, the score, the stars, and the remaining time.
  1. An end screen, win or lose, depending on whether the score goal was reached.

Score and stars

The score increases with each successful combination. Longer matches and chains earn more points. A wrong move costs a few points.

The player can earn up to 5 stars:

  • up to 3 stars based on the percentage of the score goal reached;
  • 1 bonus star for finishing without a single mistake;
  • 1 bonus star for reaching the goal quickly.

Customization options

You can adapt Crusher to your campaign:

  • the game duration;
  • the score goal to reach;
  • the difficulty, which adjusts the number of piece types;
  • special pieces, to make the game more dynamic;
  • the grid color and the header colors;
  • the piece visuals, AI-generated from your Instagram images or uploaded manually;
  • the game sounds.

Crusher can be used as an interactive experience in your campaigns, or added as a Block in your Fanzone.

Best practices

  • Set a reachable score goal to give players a real chance to win.
  • Enable special pieces for a more fun game at an event.
  • Choose high-contrast visuals so each piece type stays easy to tell apart.
  • Keep the duration short to encourage multiple plays.
