The Wheel is one of the formats of your Fanzone's Instant Win Block. The principle is simple and universal: the fan spins the wheel and immediately finds out whether they have won a prize.
What is it for?
The Wheel is an ideal Instant Win for distributing prizes in a fun way: promo codes, gifts, perks. Its suspense and satisfying gesture make it a great lever for engagement and lead collection on your Fanzone.
How is it played?
The fan taps the game button (SPIN by default), the wheel spins, then stops on a segment. If it stops on a prize, the fan wins; otherwise, a screen invites them to try again. The result is instant.
Configure your Wheel
- In your Fanzone editor, click Add a Block and, in the Gamification category, choose Wheel.
- Link an Instant Win contest: in the Block settings, select the Instant Win contest. It defines the prizes, the stock, and the winning probabilities. If no Instant Win contest exists yet, create one first.
- Customize the texts via the three tabs: Introduction, Win, and Lose.
- Customize the game button: emoji and text (SPIN by default).
- Navigation: enable Open in popup to launch the game in a window; once enabled, the Auto-start option opens the game as soon as it is displayed.
- Post-entry action: redirect the fan or trigger a bot sequence once the game is over.
Best practices
- Prepare your Instant Win contest beforehand: it is its stock and probabilities that drive the wins, not the Block itself.
- Take care of the Lose screen text: an invitation to come back tomorrow keeps engagement alive.
- Combine with a post-entry action (a collection bot) to turn every game into a qualified lead.
